Ingredients
Method
- Stir the flour, yeast, sugar and salt together. Add the warm water and melted butter and mix to a soft dough.
- Knead 6 to 8 minutes in a mixer or 8 to 10 minutes by hand until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise about 1 hour until doubled.
- Mix the cream cheese, spinach, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder and pepper for the filling.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Divide the dough into 16 pieces, flatten each, add about 2 teaspoons filling, pinch to seal and roll into a ball.
- Place a small oven-safe bowl in the center of a parchment-lined baking sheet and arrange the balls around it, seam side down.
- Brush with the baking soda solution, then the egg wash, and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake 18 to 22 minutes until deep golden. Cool 5 to 10 minutes, fill the center bowl with dip and serve warm.
Notes
Make ahead: Make the filling a day ahead and refrigerate. Shape the wreath up to 2 hours before baking.
